Need a little oomph in your decor?  Look no farther than Oomph, a small company that launched just last August at the New York International Gift Fair!

I absolutely love the story behind the founding of Oomph.  As the Oomph website explains, “three friends Amy Rice, Patty Hopple, and architect Louise Brooks came up with the notion that three simple elements of great design can totally transform any room.”  What are those elements?  Why, tables, chairs and pillows, of course!  The right tables, chairs and pillows can transform a ho-hum room into a dynamite one, just with a few new elements.  And the Oomph tables, chairs and pillows are ones that can do just that.  Oomph’s designs are rooted in tradition … but interpreted in a totally modern, fresh way … and I adore that!

In other words, you can’t really go wrong with anything from Oomph … but I do have one favorite – the quatrefoil-shaped ‘Tini Table IV – and not just because it’s named after a cocktail.

Tini Table IV

Now here’s the cool part.  You can have the ‘Tini Table IV painted in your choice of sixteen different colors (all by Sherwin-Williams with the exception of the Ralph Lauren navy).

You can also choose natural or painted raffia, “linen,” or “gator” for the top.  How fabulous and fun is that?!?!!!!!

I can think of a million different combinations that I would love – a Waterfall or Synergy-painted table with a lizard white top, a Parakeet-painted table with a Waterfall-painted raffia top, a Van Dyke-painted table with a “linen” top, a Club Navy-painted table with a “gator” top” … just to name a few.  I also think the all-Eros Pink is absolutely adorable for a young (or young-at-heart) girl’s room … or, say, the real-life Barbie Malibu Dream House!

What combination is your favorite?  Let me know if you need help picking one for your space!
