I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I am so grateful for my family and friends, including my beloved blog readers.  I enjoyed spending some “time off,” but I’m also glad to be back blogging.  I love reading your emails and comments; thank you for inspiring me!

On a lighter note, I must say a belated thank you to Baker for an incredible factory sale … and Melanie from Charlotte for making my day!  I heard from Jenny H. (who clued us in to Rudy’s Furniture) about her parents’ purchase at the sale.  They bought this French Sideboard for $400.

Can you believe that?  You can’t buy a Pottery Barn sideboard for $400.  What a deal! According to Jenny H., it’s perfect for the space in their home at Lake Toxaway.  I’m sure their home is beautiful, and I’d love to see a photo of their find in its new home! 

And – despite my earlier whining about my qi – all’s well that ends well.  Melanie from Charlotte decided that Bill Sofield’s Tusk Table in ivory lacquer wasn’t quite right for her space … so she called me and I bought it from her.  Woo hoo!!  Check it out in its new happy home …
